Some past Students Comments:

class 2006/07“I was always interested in Nutrition so decided to sign up for this course. It totally exceeded my expectations and was made very interesting, insightful and enjoyable by a brilliant teacher. I particularly enjoyed the interaction within the class which Catherine actively encouraged. A fantastic year, I can’t recommend it highly enough.”
Colin McGuirk

"I found Catherine's Diet and Nutrition course an invaluable learning experience which has opened up a whole new career path for me as a therapist "
Angela Buckley

”I always looked forward to Diet & Nutrition class every Tuesday afternoon. I wish this class was taught in every school & to every parent in the country - Catherine could be Ireland's version of Jamie Oliver, re-educating us all!
It's amazing the impact our diet has on diseases like cancer, Type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. Plus, as Catherine says, we'd all save a fortune on beauty products if we just ate & drank healthily. This class is a must for anyone confused by all the books, programmes & fad diets out there - Catherine gives a no-nonsense, balanced approach to a fascinating subject. It was great to be able to help my family & friends improve their diet too - and hope to offer this to my massage client's too from now on”.
Gillian Smith

“The Diet & Nutrition course I did with Catherine on Tuesday's was my biggest learning curve that I had to climb, but I got great help from Catherine and I am glad to say I passed my exam!”.
May O'Connell

Food, Mood and Emotion

raspberriesMany people spend their lives looking for that 'Something ' to make them happy_ the perfect house, partner or job; whatever they feel is missing from their life.

But what if you already have that 'Perfect Life' and just don't know it?

Our ability to be happy, positive and content depends on our mental outlook which in turn is dependant on the food we eat.

This workshop looks at the way food affects our moods and emotions, both positively and negatively and gives simple dietary and practical solutions to make us healthier and happier.

Food is the Best Medicine

appleYou have all heard the saying "an apple a day keeps the doctor away" and you probably heard the one about ginger treating nausea. But did you know that cantaloupe melon contains the same substance currently being used in patients with heart disease to keep the blood thin and relieve angina attacks, or that broccoli demonstrates remarkable anti-cancer properties?

This is a brand new workshop that will provide tons of information about the foods that along with apples help to keep the Doctor away (or at least keep your visits to them down to routine health checks!)
